Well, this is a hard topic to address—Wyoming LLCs.  Millions and Millions of dollars are being spent to counter a topic my new YouTube addresses.  Just remember, I don’t have a dog in this fight, and I don’t make a dime whatever you do about Wyoming LLCs, Nevada LLCs, or an LLC in any state you choose.

Huge seminar efforts are being made to sell everyone on the idea that they need to have a Utah, Nevada, New Mexico, Wyoming, or some other state’s LLC.  The group promoting Utah LLC’s is making millions of dollars a year by having people pay about $5,000 for three LLCs.  Then they make millions more each year acting as registered agent for the LLCs they have set up.  

I live in Utah.  I am a lawyer licensed in Utah.  I know Utah laws.  I would be very interested to hear one of their sales speeches, because I can tell you with no reservation that Utah has crappy LLC laws.  But none of that matters.  Utah could have the best laws in the nation for LLCs.  The whole program would still be a scam. 

98% of the time when people come up to me and proudly announce that they have a Utah LLC or a Nevada LLC or a Wyoming LLC, I have to tell them they have wasted their money.  Cut your losses, lick your wounds, and move on.  Unless your LLC is in the state where you own property that is held in the LLC or you are doing business with the LLC in the state, you wasted your money getting an LLC in some “exotic” state.  Period!!  End of Discussion!!
