The IRS and estate transfers are both gearing up to be a nightmare under some of the new laws. We’ve talked about the IRS going from a $12 billion budget this year to an almost $90 billion budget starting immediately. That’s intended to collect an extra $1 trillion in taxes. Additionally, the ability of families to transfer
wealth may be almost totally prevented in the future.
I’ve worked hard to leave my children better off than I was. You know, a little higher on the middle-class ladder – a little more secure and comfortable than Kristy and I had it. Our parents and grandparents worked to make me better. That’s the way the middle class has built itself over the last couple of centuries in the
US.
All that is being totally threatened by new proposals. The tax on transfers – even smaller middle-class transfers – could easily reach 70% by the time you eliminate the step up in basis, lower the estate tax limits, drop capital gains taxes, and implement a deemed disposition tax.
The tools we have traditionally used for asset protection may be a family’s only hope of transferring wealth.
Things are a changing! My next Money Making and Asset Protection Boot Camp is in less than two weeks (September 10 and 11). It’s a full two days of hard-core information on estate planning, business structuring, asset protection, tax planning, audit prevention, and fun. Yes, Ben Rucker and I can make it fun. Don’t believe
me that a lawyer and accountant can be fun? Look what former attendees have said:
“Fun, needed. I did not know how much I did not know.” Allen J., Spanish Fork UT
“This was definitely the funnest informational seminar I've been to.” Denise L., Ventura CA
“Awesome bootcamp because this info is current, practical and fun to implement.” Harry P., Rochester NY
The internet price is $2,499 for the two-day live event, but it’s only $1499 for the virtual event. The class is full, and I haven’t sent one email out inviting you to attend. However, because this is a virtual class and I am not restrained by physical facility restraints, I am holding a few seats for my long-time
students. I keep the classes to a handful of folks, so we can all interact even over Zoom. Additionally, I don’t have the overhead costs of a live event, so for the first three students that sign up, you’ll only pay $749—that’s half off. Plus, you can have your mom & dad, spouse, business partners, or others attend with you. The object is to get information in your hands that will make your life better.
You’ll need to sign up by Thursday, September 2, so we can send you the physical manual you’ll use during the Boot Camp. You’ll get a 100-page manual to use for the two days. Plus, you’ll get a recording of the full event.
Register here, and we will see you a week from Friday. Below is the agenda for the two days.
