For decades I operated LegaLees as a corporation. If you look on previous materials and emails from me, you see "LegaLees Corporation." When I started my company over 30 years ago, LLCs were very new and the laws on them were not well established. That is no longer the case.
I have a close friend who is now charged with murder, because he invested in real estate and a tenant died. In addition to investing in real estate, he has a nice company he spent 40 years building. He will lose his nice company because it is a corporation. This hits too close to home for me, so I am converting LegaLees into an LLC.
