Don't Mix Up Your Company and Personal Funds

Published: Thu, 12/10/15

Hi

Commingling is one of the main issues that come up whenever your company is sued.  If you have commingled money or assets, the court will probably set aside your company's "corporate veil," and you will be held personally liable.  Commingling can happen very innocently, and people get caught without even knowing what they did.

Check out my article at http://www.llcwizard.com/commingling and YouTube video for instructions on keeping finances clearly separate.  Otherwise, you could lose all the asset protection you formed the company to gain.
