Your car has a title and requires your signature to transfer the vehicle to another person. That means it is subject to probate after your death UNLESS you have the vehicle “owned” or titled in the name of your living revocable trust.

There are a number of reasons that you may not want to put your present vehicle into that trust.  For example, some states insist that it is a transfer of title and will require you to pay sales tax.
