Hello
We have had a lot of people call the office about registering for the Tax Summit, so let me clarify and add a little more information about the tax trick.
The content about holding your tax return long enough to get the IRS records is good, but I need to tell you why
you have to make the extension in order to play the game. Most of the 1099R documents and other information from investment companies, banks, etc., doesn’t come into the IRS until June or July.
That means if you file on April 15, you won’t be able to review the IRS records, because the IRS simply hasn’t gotten most of the information it is going to get. Thus, if you are going to play the “review the IRS
files” game before you file your taxes, you have to file an extension.
We will show you how to avoid an audit in spite of
the 87,000 new agents. We will go over year end tax planning which can save you big dollars at tax time. Plus we will show you how to easily prepare your tax numbers for each piece of real estate. That will save you hours!
I forgot to tell the people who have prepaid for the Tax Summit how to register. Just call Candy in the office at 801-802-9020. Even though you have prepaid, you have to register so we know how many to prepare for.
Those who prepaid paid $499. Because of the confusion, I will do a weekend special for the folks who haven’t prepaid.
Until Monday, November 7, the cost of the Tax Summit is $499, whether you prepaid or not. That’s a 50%
discount off the Tax Summit price. Use the code “TSHalf”. That’s only good until Monday, November 7.
See you at the Tax Summit!
